Visa on arrival for babies
Hi,
I have read abt the recent change in sponship rules. "Newborns born outside qatar can enter qatar without visa accompanied by parents, provided if both parents are valid RP holders."
Has anybody managed to do this? Please advise. I have been told that although this law is in place, airport immigration officials are not following this. They still follow the old rule, babies older than 90 days require a visa.
Please advise.
Actually I have the same concern because i want to bring my baby boy here. he is only 1 month old. i want to know what are the requirements here in Doha for entry visa of my baby and also the requirements in the philippines because my husband want to come back here with our baby. by the way i am under husband sponsor visa and left here in qatar because when he left last week my Iqama was not yet available.
Experience is a good teacher. Don't take it for granted. Instead learn from it.
Has anybody been able to bring babies older that 90 days and managed to get visa on arrival?
i dono much about this new rule, but i got my baby in when he was 30 days old, and that was 6 months ago, they asked for birth certificate and his passport ! then once in the country i worked on his VISA
