Visa on arrival
I have a British Passport and I have been in Qatar for two months on 'Visa on arrival'. I need to exit Doha and again enter so that I can again get a month's visa on arrival as I have a British Passport. My question is is it possible to go by car to Qatar Saudi Border by road and make an exit stamp at Qatar Immigration. After this I do not go the Saudi Immigration and return back to Doha after clearing the Customs inwards. I will though take theSaudi Transit visa before starting from Doha. Just to tell you that my friend, who has Qatar residence will travel with mein his car and he will also obtain Saudi Transit visa.
I know many of you may ask me to Dubai by air , but some reason, I prefer to go by road.
Please guide me if this is doable and appropriate.

Someone was telling me that as long as you are not resident of Qatar you will not be able to obtain a visa by the Saudis to travel by car. Your best option is to call the KSA embassy to verify. Also, they will not allow you to travel out of the country with a rental car, so someone who owns a car needs to travel with you in such case.
