Its not possible for your BF to sponser your visa unless you both are not married. This considering you are planing for long visit.
If you plan to visit him for a short period, your BF can approach any Hotel in Qatar and get tourist visa from them which will allow you to stay in Qatar for 14 days.
If not, your BF will have to find a job for you and the rest is similar to what your BF did to come here.
