Our parents are here in Qatar on family visit visa, and we are planning to go for Umrah with them. I would like to know how long I have to extend their visa validity in order to apply for Umrah visa and for reentry permit. They arrived in Qatar on 18th March 2010, and we are planning our trip in the first week of May 2010. Also my father’s age is 68, will there be any problem in extending his visa for another 3-4 months.

You will have to extend their visas for at-least 2 months, also a re-entry stamp from Immigration department is required prior to travel. Age is only considered for issuing the visit visa, for renewal it is not an issue.

asper law only 1.5 month visa need,but 1 month also they will allow, you can contract this no.4272009, Indian Islamic Association Office,
