I am an engineer having a visa in which the profession is PROFESSIONAL (PROFESSIONAL) and am planning to visit Dubai during the Eid Holidays and am planning to travel by road. Can me and my family get a Visa on Arrival??
if you are still planning for EID to dubai by road, I would say you are already late. firstly Saudi embassy would be closing soon, secondly i was informed they arent giving transit visa to Muslim at this eid season, they are giving only umrah visa to muslims now. so double check.
Yes i enquired about the Saudi Visa and was told that I was to take a transit visa from the Saudi embassy in Doha and for that we are supposed to show UAE visa :)...so this is sort of a vicious cycle :P
A lot depends on your nationality - although being in a GCC and having such a profession you should be able to get one on arrival - however I would suggest you check with the UAE embassy website - also have you got your transit visa for Saudi? I only ask as I know of some people who have not been able to obtain a visa to travel in Saudi during Eid due to Hajj season - so before you make any concrete plans i would suggest you double check those things with the relevant authorities.

1. It depends on your nationality.
2. You need a transit visa through Saudi Arabia for everyone.
