I will have a flight with Emirates which will be transit more than 10 hours in Dubai. I plan to get visa on arrival so I can just spend a couple hours looking for food or just sightseeing during my transit. Is it possible to obtain Visa on Arrival if my occupation in my ID card is only "Technician"..? I'm working for one of Qatar Petroleum subsidiary/joint company and my nationality is Indonesian..

You can apply for UAE Tourist Visa from Cozmo Travel.

They are located near to Crazy signal in B-Ring Road, Doha.

One of my friend having Technician Visa in Qatar got visa for Dubai..But not On-arrival..You have to book through Emirates flight itself..It will cost around 100 Riyal...He applied through online and got the visa to email...Just check it out...

I don't think Technicians can get on arrival visa in Dubai.
