Hello My Friends.. I hope my all of you are good.. My name is Murad, electrical engineer.. I arrived Qatar on 11.08.2014 (4 weeks ago) to work with a contracting company.. I have not made the medical test and fingerprint yet so I don't have the Qatar ID.. I don't like my work environment and my employment offer says I can leave within 3 days in probation period which is 90 days.. I found another position which I consider it better and I want to move through it.. My question is, Can I transfer my VISA from my current sponsor if I have  N.O.C letter from him ?? Any help please, it is an urgent issue and I need to know what to do.. I appreciate all helps.. Thank you

Dear molten-metal, please don't give absurd replies. Even if Murad Abuelrub works with concentration & dedication for 2 years, is there guarantee that he will get release or at least NOC from current company???

As salamualikum, Dear Murad Abuelrub, sorry for belated reply. As explained on phone, if visa is not pasted on your passport & your Id is not issued then you can transfer to another company if you have NOC. If you don't have NOC then you have to exit the country and can come on new Visa immediately.

Hello guys.. Thanks for sharing your info.. I know that if I got my residence and ID I have no choice, I have to work with my current sponsor for 2 years.. but if I take an action now, I can avoid the 2 years and work with the new sponsor... Also, the Passports and Expatriates Affairs department has an option to change the old sponsor to a new one before the residency is issued and the fees for this process are 300 Qatari Riyals.. But I need to make sure that it is exactly means that..

Molten metal I don't think it makes a lot of senses for him to continue as he's said he's not comfortable with the work environment. So I think the man still has the time and chance to redeem the situation. Ask your new company to provide you with visa because you have to exit the country. So think hard about it and take the option that suits you best.
