Transfer of Sponsorship; Less Than 2 Years ?

As per Qatar law nt possible to change ure sponsorship in lesss than 2 years but obviously if u have complet at least one year than u will be able to get 6 months to work in the company u want but with NOC from ure current company . Best of luck

hi there, all you need to do is ask a release paper from your present company or sponsor if they give you thats it you can transfer to another company that will hire you... hope will help you, godbless.

I can only give you our personal experience - whether it works for you?

My husband started work for a local construction company in May 2010. In May 2011 he had the chance to work for another construction company - not local. His company would not give him NOC until finally they decided yes to give NOC at the end of September 2011.

The process for changing sponsorship is very complicated - probably for everyone - as apart from getting the necessary paperwork from your present company, you will need to have your attested qualifications, Qatar ID, passport and a Police Report from your country confirming you are an honest person - whether you have lived in your country or not!

For us, getting the Police Report was involved and took a long time.

Once all this paperwork is ready your company will need to meet your new one and "exchange" your ID etc.

I believe that if you have a good record working with your current company, they will "consider" giving you an NOC and letting you go, as long as you have worked for them for 12 months or longer.

My husband found out TODAY that his sponsorship is finally changed after all this time of back and forth so we are very happy. I wish for you the same success!

At the very least, it is worth asking your present company - you never know what might happen here in the Middle East so have a go! Good luck!
