Transfer of sponsorship

Hi - I have completed one year with my first employer in Qatar. I just got a new job with another company and the previous employer is ready to give NOC. My question is: Do I have to complete 2 years with my first employer before i transfer to a new employer even though I have an NOC. The other option is the visa with my first employer could be cancelled, I and family can exit and then we can come back in the new company's visa. Any advise regarding this would be appreciated.

Hi Aussie, If you can transfer the visa with an NOC nothing like it. Depending on your profession you can transfer after completing 1 year itself. ( I transferred my visa in Engineer profession after completing exactly one year) Considering the 2nd option it will be a bit risky as you will have to cancel the old visa with a NOC which will waive the mandatory 2 year ban and moreover depends whether the new sponsor can get you on the desired profession / visa which depends on the visa availability and applicable nationality.

If you company is giving you NOC then you dont have to do anything...Just transfer the visa to new company....All the best!!!
