Tourist visa urgent question

Hi everyone,

I want to come to qatar and enter on a tourist visa on arrival as i am a UK passport holder. I am aware that a visa will be given to me on arrival in Doha, but im not sure how long this visa will be valid for. Could anyone help here? Some places quote that a 2 week tourist visa will be given whereas other places quote 30 days.

Any help will be most appreciated

Many thanks

It is 30 validity, not two weeks. You can extend for another 30 days. Just had mine done.

Hi, I am British and living here. The visa is valid for 30 days. You can go to the immigration dept just outside the airport and extend it for another 30 days. This can be done if you wish as soon as you arrive to save going back to the airport!! After this second visa, you will need to leave Qatar and re-enter. I dont know how many times you can do this but I I left once after my first extension for the day and extended the new visa as soon as I arrived back here. Hope this helps.

It's 30 days on arrival. At the end of this period you can extend the visa for a further 30 days by visiting the immigration department at the airport (separate building from the terminal) and paying (I think) 100QR. When the extension expires you must fly out of the country, but you can just hop to Bahrain or Dubai and come straight back to Doha and get another visa upon arrival, thus starting this process again from the beginning. I'm a UK passport holder and have done this many times in the past.
