Ticket Going Back Home
I was hired (April) more than a year ago under an indefinite contract. I just had my vacation last June and I came back to report to office July 11.
Recently I had a major clash with a co-employee and that pushed me to resign. My manager accepted my resignation.
I just wanted to ask if its right that I shoulder my plane ticket going back home or the company should pay for it? Note that I was hired in my home country. I asked the HR, they said that I will shoulder it because I have to tender 6 months more for them to pay for it. But as I have understood the law, under an indefinite contract, the company must pay for it.
I'm confused. Please help to clarify.
Thanks for the answers in advance.
even though I just got back from my yearly vacation..?
As per law the company has to pay for the ticket to the base country where the employee was hired after the termination of the contract.
