We are an Australian family, are we able to sponsor a maid from Nepal? I hear there are restrictions on some counties from where we can sponsor maids. Is Nepal one of those?

Also if we do sponsor a maid, are we able transfer that sponsorship to Dubai, as there is a possibility of us relocating to Dubai.

If no one knows for sure is there somewhere I can find out?

As far I know Nepal is not a restricted nationality now. Although these restrictions do come and go, and unfortunately never announced so you learn by experience. Transferring to Dubai is not a problem, you have to apply for a new visa/RP for her over there. Procedure takes 1 hour, much smoother and less wait.
