Submit the forms at Immigration in Garaffa ( 4890333) Building No. 4 1st floor( it is advisable to apply around 8-9)
then they will provide you with a small papers which indicates the number of your application forms.
most of the data is written in Arabic.

You much wait for atleast 10 days before your do the follow-up (this is based on my experience).
When the officer in charge in building No.4 1st floor says your documents is ready he will give you a paper about half of A4 crosswise and you must go to the No. 4
it is almost infront of Building No. 2.
Payment is to be made in cash Only 10.00 QAR

Then when you're done with the typing you must return to the officer in charge in Building No.4 1st Floor and return the form (half of A4 crosswise) for the signature and stamp.
The officer will probably ask you to return the next morning for the signed document.

When you return you will receive the document on the same building with signature and stamp.
you must proceed to Gulftimes for publishing.(4466609)
(Classified counter opens from 8-12nn and 4-7:30PM)
Location is located in C-ring road opposite side of Gulf Cinema. it is after Gulf Cinema Signal when you are from Ramada Signal.

The publication is usually done the day after you have done the application for Publishing. You must present the form given by the officer incharge (half of A4 crosswise) to Gulftimes and they will publish your information. you have to pay by cash with the amount of 90.00 QAR only.

The next morning you have to give a copy of the published news papers with your information (location is on the classified section) to thesame officer in charge in immigration Building No.4 1st floor.
He will then sign your newspaper and would ask you to wait and return after 3 days to check if your documents will be ready.

When your documents are ready, the officer in charge will put a no. behind the A4 form crosswise and will ask you to proceed to the very first building first floor ( location is just after you enter the gate of the immigration there is a door there near the guard its upstairs.

When you go there, the officer inside the room will give you a form, you have to do the typing thesame place as you go for the A4 form crosswise. Location is beside the photocopy area in front f Building 2.

Typing will be in arabic ( the person there will require to see your new passport for typing. then you have to pay in cash 10.00 QAR.

after the typing proceed to Building 1 fisrt floor. when your documents are all ok. they will give you the form you where you have done the typing in arabic and the officer there will sign and write down your details.

next step is to go down on Building No. 1 ground floor.
proceed to the Number counter and the guy there will give you a number and ask you to proceed to lane 1.
you have to wait for your turn based from your number.

Lane 1 officer will require you to give your 2 original passport (old and new), the form from Buidling 1 1st floor, and Original ID card

You have to pay here by Credit card or ATM
300 QAR
and 100 QAR

After paying the Lane 1 officer will stamp a copy of the RP on your new passport indicating your new name on the RP. he will return both passport and id to you and that completes the process for the RP transfer.

be informed that immigration lane closes @ 1 PM so be sure to process earlier.

Hope this will help a lot.
