RP renewal for a passport expiring with 6 months
I have a small clarification regarding RP renewal for a passport expiring with 6 months.
The RP renewal falls during end Feb 2011 and the passport is expiring August 2011. Please can anyone clarify the sequence in which the RP be renewed. Should I renew the RP before the passport renewal or is it better to renew the passport and submit for RP renewal.
Can someone help.
First of all check Indian embassy regarding how many months b4 you could apply for new passport?...if it is possible before 6 months then, apply for new passport then go for RP otherwise stamp RP first and later pay just 50 or 100 Riyals to transfer to new passport....tt's yet.
It is better to renew the Passport first if possible. Otherwise you can renew your RP, get your new Passport after 6 months and transfer the RP to the new Passport which will cost you Qr. 50/- to avoid carrying 2 passports.
Its a better idea to renew the passport first. If you renew the rp first, the rp will be pasted on the old passport. your wife has to carry both the passports all the time.
