Rp in Old Passport & traveling with New passport to Qatar from India

Hi QL'ers, Hope I'll get answer for my Question who came thru the same situation,the Qn is my Wife gone for delivery in India,and there she renewed her Passport.The thing is her visa in Old passport,I think she can travel along with her old passport,but today some of my friends told me that,Qatar circulated new rules stating that "no one should travel by showing visa in Old passport"is it True any body heard about that.............Thanks in advance and expecting ur answers

what if you don't have a visa and traveling on normal work visa?

does the same apply for them?

that is true that no one should travel if the visa is on the old passport IF YOU ARE EXITING FROM QATAR. IF YOU ARE FROM QATAR AND GOING BACK TO INDIA, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TRAVEL. YOU HAVE TO TRANSFER YOUR VISA TO YOUR NEW PASSPORT but, if you are travelling from india to qatar and your visa is on your old passport, you are allowed to travel but once you arrive in doha, you have to transfer your visa to your new passport.

There is no problem in travelling with the new passport and with RP in the old passport. Once coming to Qatar, you can transfer the RP to the new passport. This is a standard procedure. Dont worry about this.

No need to worry it will be automatically updated in the system once you reach the emigration counter at airport at Doha
