Hi,
I’m working as a teacher in an International school here. I’m under my husband’s sponsor.
I’m having a labour card from my school. Now I got an opportunity work in another school which willing to pay me more. New school requires the CEID clearance to give me the offer. When i went to CEID they said that I been registered under current school so first get the resignation acceptation letter. As the resignation acceptation period been expire current school refuse to give the acceptation letter.
As I’m under my husband’s sponsor do they have a right to do so??? Or is there is any other way of getting the CEID clearance???
Can’t I pay penalty fee for not giving notice to current school and get the resignation acceptation letter???

I don't know why are you having such problem inspite of being on HUSBAND SPONSORHIP????

I never faced any problem whenever i've changed my job here in DOHA..And yes, i was having LABOUR CARD too from all my ex companies..

if CEID says it is required, then it is required. if they dont give it, sit home.

Maybe its a non-English medium school Flor!

Anyway if you are under your husband's sponsorship then should be ok.

But this is bad practice in the field of education - you should always resign with at least a semester's notice.

I'm still at a lost here, you said you are a teacher? I just pity the school you worked with and the next one that will hire you! Acceptation?
