Residency Visit - Extension of Date of Arrival
Is it possible to extend the date of arrival for family RP visit visa? my wife was supposed to arrive by dec 13th, but she could not due to some personal reasons. Additionally I also had to travel to my country. prior to my departure i checked with my PRO and he said it is fine and he can extend my wife's date of arrival to a later date with a small fee.
but once i traveled, he called me up after the initial date of arrival and told me that some law has changed and we can no more extend this and i was required to re-apply the visa. so i had to cancel my wife's ticket (which i had pre-booked) and head back to Qatar alone and re-apply for the visa.
now that i have applied, its been 8 days and the site still says "the application is under process", whereas, last time when i applied, it got approved in 3 working days!!!!
am i doing something wrong here? is there any need to worry?
