Residence Permits for Pakistani Nationals

Hi,

I would like to know whether the 'unofficial' ban on Pakistani nationals for work permits is still holding in Qatar. Are there any ways to get around the long delays and non-issuance of residence permits to Pakistanis. Does it depend on the strength of the sponsor? Any and all ideas are welcome.

Thanks!

I think you are right 'victory'. I guess I will ask the company to redouble their efforts in that respect. Don't think 'purchasing' a visa is an option I want to pursue.

Wastas, strong management/companies/sponsors and rare positions always work....irrespective of nationality

rez, I hope you understand that your uncle has committed a crime. and I hope you understand that you are silly enough (I try to avoid some stronger definition) to announce a whole Qatar about it.

The streight of sposner, how good your PRO is adn the company you are getting into matters, e.g. if youg et into one of the oil, like QP or other local company or decent international it is less issue, also on your position, e.g. Managment best of luck
