Does anyone know how long does it take for the immigration people to transfer residence permit from indian passport to australian passport? Or does anyone the exact process atleast. The indian passport is cancelled and therefore the permit needs to be transferred across. It's been two months since i submitted the application.

Thanks Hussam. Do you know if there is any provision to travel outside the country and re-enter using the australian passport. Would i be able to show the RP on the cancelled indian passport. Will that work?

Actually there is no specific time, but sure its a long procedure, so it takes time. But you have to keep on following it up every few days to let them hurry in processing it.
