My mom`s visitor visa was rejected, because she is over 62 years of age..is there any other way of getting her here for the Christmas period?? Please help me with some info.
Normally for above 60 they dont approve but as many others said try again. You might be successful and it will be better if you have "vasta" or you will have to meet the important Officers, explain them and get the approval from them. Wish you good luck.
It is not probably because of her age, it might be your ability to get her here, say your salary, or her medical record. But a good talking to request to the officer will do...specially if she will just come for visit and go...gudluck!
I'll send you a Private Message! My parents just came over for Christmas and New Year and they're both in their mid-70s and didn't have any problems. They were given a tourist visa on arrival valid for one month that also permits them to visit Oman...
I got my grand mother visit visa for six months and she had landed in Qatar day before yesterday.
She is 64 and we had no trouble getting her visa approved.
I would say to apply again with a new application and meet highly rank officer (Police Officer) and request him that u would like to bring your mother to celebrate Christmas with you.
The officer office is located at the second floor of the MAIN Passport office at Madina Khalifa.

Yes in this case, we need request to police officer.
as long the condition healthy, even more than 60 yo.I believe they will understand and consider it.
as my friend's experience, we can request for that special case.
I hope every one will see and visit the Bright future country in the world.
Good luck!!!
