Reason for Rejection of Visa Application?
My friend in the Philippines was issued a working visa to Saudi Arabia from a local employment agency. The entry visa will expire January 31, 2008.
Incidentally, he got an offer to work here in Qatar. He sends a scanned copy of his passport to his would-be employer for the application of his visa.
Twice the State of Qatar rejected the company’s application for his visa and they offered no explanation.
He never worked before in Qatar.
What is the probable reason for such rejection? Is it because he has existing visa from Saudi Arabia? Do all GCC countries share a common database to know the working visas issued by member countries?
but if you query the gulf-times now you can have dual GCC visa, all you got to pay is 2 k qatari riyal, i don't think this is the issue, i am in qatar for 2 weeks now and my employer is suppose tob e getting visa still no where abouts....:(
I recall a report a while back that Qatar would not issue visas to holders of other GCC visas. The other one has to be cancelled first.

it happens to one of our applicant from Manila. we advice him to inform his employer in KSA to cancell his working visa. then after that we reapply his working visa for Qatar.
they're are not required to give you any explanation... maybe the approving officer is in a bad mood.. don't like his picture... etc.. there are a lot of reasons...
visas to Philippino's at this time. Or his company hasn't got anymore visas left for issue.
It could be numerous reasons. I am not aware that the GCC countries share visa info. It don't think this would have anything to do with it.
