Hi all,

I need an expert advice on Re-entry Extension.

My wife is preganant and planning for delivery in INDIA. I heard that staying beyond 6 months is possible with special permission. My wife is in my sponsorship having valid RP till 2013. she plans to goto INDIA by the end of JAN 2012. Staying there for at least 8-9 months and returning back to QATAR with our child, birth certificate and passport as well.

what is the procedure to get the Re-entry extension from 6 months to 9 months.

what are the *docs required to get the process done.

There is an application for Stay beyond six months outside the country. You need to fill this form and submit when your wife plans to return to Qatar. There is a fee to be paid. However make sure that her RP is still valid when she returns.

Re your new baby born if they enter Qatar before baby is 3 months old you will get visa upon arrival at the airport.

Also check with the airlines if they require a visa for the baby??
