QATAR RE-ENTRY

After completing a 2 year contract but was not given an NOC by the employer and exit Qatar with visa cancelled on your passport, the current labor law is saying that you can only comeback to Qatar after 2 years to join a new employer. My question is what if you have to re-enter Qatar to visit a friend or family member using a visit visa/business visa, is the ban also applicable. Please take note that you are not going to join a new employer but will only visit a friend or family member? Can someone share an honest opinion/advice . Thank you.
