police certificate, finger prints OR both

I have been reading through the forum recently but I am still confused regarding which one is required, finger prints, police certificate or both. I am waiting for my work visa to be sent by my employer(QP) and I remember they mentioned to bring finger prints when I did the face to face interview.

Your advices are very much appreciated. Being a Canadian citizen I know that the process of getting finger prints is very much lengthy.

You will need this certificate of good conduct as apparently it's become a requirement. I don't know if it needs to be notarized. Email the Embassy of Qatar in Washington, DC and ask them.

Good luck.

E46M3--Thank you very much for your information.

This is what I was told yesterday by this guy from QP HR. I will fire him an email right now to check the matter. Is the police certificate required then? do I have to authenticate it by Qatari embassy?( we do not have a Qatari diplomatic representation here in Canada and we need to get it done by the Qatari embassy in Washington).

Whoever told you that you need to bring a copy of your fingerprints is wrong.

You are fingerprinted here after you arrive when the process for getting your residence permit begins.
