you habe to know what type of visa ur holding, is it WORK visa or Visit / Business Visa.

If work visa - u must have done ur Residents permit( that medical, finger print) within the firts 90 days from the date of your entry in Doha, After 90 days if not yet done there is a penalty of QRs10.00(?) per day

If Business - validity is 30 days from day of entry, renewable for 6 months ( now they say upto 3 only)after such QRs500.oo penalty daily fine is emposed.

If Tourist / Visit visa - 30 days valid from date of entry after such QRs. 200.00 penalty per day.

If they dont stamp your visa, you can go back and come back under any other visa. Once they stamp your visa then you need to have no objection letter form your current sponsor.
