Please I need update

hello Everyone I have a Qatar working Visa which was stated like this ..

Purpose of Visa :VISIT
Visa Type :WORK VISA-One Vist
Duration of Residence: 5 year

and i was given an eatery date that valid for 6month expire June and i have a program that am run now that we end in 17th on May. please i want to know if its still possible for me to enter Qatar and still apply for my resident permit or i should forget about it.. please anybody with help.
