that portal is not updated regularly Mik. I am HR manager and can tell you that we received information from MOI that the new rules are QR10,000 for family with 2 children. For families with more than 2 children there are no published guidelines other than that we know employees are required to make more than QR10,000.

There is some misinformation on this thread. heres a more accurate information about the requirements coming from Ministry of Labor site which says you must earn at least QR 7,000 and not QR 10,000. Hope this helps.

will analyze also :(...

example your profession is a clerc in a private new company and your salary shows high figure, maybe, maybe, maybe...some officers will think twice.

Let us try our best and InshaAllah, our applications will be approved :)

it depends how your contract is written Aneesh. If it says QR7000 plus QR3000 accommodation (where accommodation is provided by the employer in lieu of payment) or something like this, you're ok.

If basic salary is QR.7,000/ and the accommodation by sponsor, is it ok?

I am more than sure - I work in HR and we got this info directly from MOI :o) if your visa application went in before the rules changed, you may still be ok. also - it's QR10,000 including allowances, not basic

As sandya said - they also have to be attested by Qatari embassy in India. Also, salary limit has increased about 2 weeks ago to QR10,000 per month (including allowances) for 2 dependants. If you have more dependents, you should have around QR12,500 per month.

Nowadays, all certificates requested by labour/immigration dept, should be attested by Qatar forieng ministry here in doha. To do so, they have been attested by Qatar embassy in your country or your country embassy in Qatar.
