Not under husbands sponsorship
Hi to everyone. I am unable to solve my problem and really need help / info from you guys i am not under my husband's sponsorship as my sponsor is a qatari guy. My husband is in doha and he is working for a company. My problem is that this year we had a baby and i need to issue passport for her but as i am under maid's visa i cannot get passport for my baby. We tried our best to get my sponsorship changed from this qatari guy to my husband but my sponsor is not ready to release me from his sponsorship as he need money to give me release.
We are coming from a middle class family and we cannot afford to pay him the amount which he is asking.
Please treat this email as a plea from my end and let me have any idea / info on this issue.

thank you friends ! for sharing your views i just want to come out of this situation and wants to get passport for my baby you know we cannot travel to our home country becos of this situation.
I don't get it.... if it is illegal to have a baby at your current status and why are you still here....is the penalty for having a baby (at your status) is not giving you your baby's birth certificate???

(I was born free but now I am a slave of the system with no rights as the system has yet to recognise me as a free human being)
thanks ste ! but the problem is the ministry is not releasing / giving us my baby birth certificate as i am holding maid visa and it is illegal to have baby in qatar under this visa

Your husband should go to your own embassy with his passport, your new babies birth certificate, marriage licence etc and they will issue him with a passport for the child. Your sponsor should have nothing to do with issuing passport.
