NOC Tourist visa

Dear All,
Do I need NOC from hotel for converting tourist visa to family visit visa ? Is it a must or can we do it if we get some approval from immigration ?
One more thing, just 30 days are over for this tourist visa by yesterday 25/11/2012...

yes, you can do it, but only once your family visit visa is approved....
in my case. she exited and then came back in new visa.
here the visa issues are too confusing. nobody knows the actual procedure. you have to experience everything.
so dont rely on any one. do what you think is best and suitable for you...
hello prasanth067 ..what is the latest update from you ? do you get the visa ? we have the same situation. I spoked with the captain in garafa immigration. he told me that i don't need to exit and just pay 500 for the conversion..
They have accepted family visit visa application today afternoon and i got checking receipt...hope it will be approved and ready for printing when the person is already in the country...once it is ready, then I can convert the current tourist visa (expired and under fine now) to family visit visa by paying QR 500 and necessary fine for tourist visa overstay...please share your views....
or do I need to arrange exit tomorrow to avoid confusion and clash between two visas.............pls help with your views.....

today I got a signature in my family visit application from captain through my PRO. He told me I have to go in person and submit this application at Garafa immigration visa section.
Now I hope they will accept this application and documents without NOC from hotel (visa already expired and under fine now) and I can convert this tourist visa to family visit visa by paying 500 QR....
trust I am not confusing....
Yea, if you pay extra for Immigraction , it will work ..you can Convert , but u can't hold able to get anther visa , as the system will show that u alrady in country , ...

My my PRO told me no need of NOC...He will get family visit visa first and then convert tourist visa to family visit by paying QR 500 at immigration...is that correct ? can we get another visa for same person when he is already in the country...?
NOC Required , as i did for one my engineer , 200 Qr Per day you have to pay ..
