Hi guys,

I'm after some help. I've been working for an Egyptian firm for 3 months now and I've not had a great start to life here. Ideally I'd like to get with a Western firm. I've read a few topics on the forums about Egyptian firms being notoriously hardwork to get an NOC from them. However, if I'm honest with them and tell them that the role I have isn't quite what I expected and offer to reimburse any costs associated with my appointment are they likely to be more helpful in giving me an NOC? If I were to leave it wouldn't be to one of their competitors either. I'm on a 6 month probation on my visa if that is any help for anyone who may know.

Any help greatly appreciated, my work situation is compounding the difficulties I am facing in settling over here.
