Whatever you have heard it's absolutely wrong..It's next to impossible to look for another job after working for 2yrs in a company unless present sponsor/employer provides NOC...

In your case too, NOC is must in order to change your job in DOHA itself...

NOC is solely on the discretion of employer/sponsor..no one can pressurize them to provide NOC..You have to live on their mercy...ok..

No you have to depend on your sponsorer to give NOC, that is really bad luck for all of us, we cannot take independent decisions here, so somehow convince your present company to give release and NOC, which is unlikely here,

You are out of luck. Giving a NOC is up to the discretion of the employer. No matter how many years you have worked. This is why people complain about the sponsorship system.

I think, as per Qatar labor law, you'll need to obtain an NOC from your current employer/sponsor. Otherwise, if you no longer want your present job, the best thing to do is to resign. You will have to return to your country and wait up to 2 years, before you can re-enter Qatar again.

Just my 2 cents.
