U SHOULD ASK INDIAN EMBASSY FOR THE REQUIREMENTS?OFCOURSE THEY NEED BIRTH CERTIFICATE,YOUR PASSPORT COPY AND YOUR HUSBAND/WIFE FILL OUT FORM THE BABY PICTURE GOODLUCK!!!

If the baby was born in India and the father is in Qatar at the moment, then a letter from the Indian Embassy is required which will state your NRI status.
There is an application form to be filled up.
Submit it along with your PP/RP QID copies.
You will get the letter by 4 working days
Send it to India and apply for babys passport there.
Ofcourse you will need BC copy, MC copy and babys mothers identity proof.

congrats for your baby mate. if it was born in HMC, you shld have got its birth certificate. take that and ur and ur wife's passport copy to the indian embassy and they will make one for you / help you with the same.
if not born in HMC, you got to get the birth certificate and the rest of the procedure remains the same.
