The requirement is quite tough! Its like you are already applying for a "permanent residence status" in this Country. And it basically contradicts the objective of gaining more popularity and economic advancements as a better place to live by welcoming more citizens to come. Somehow, its their Country, so their rules.

I am glad to see the wisdom of increasing the income required. However, I wish to see it MUCH higher to keep schools and government services from being overrun.

Renewal can be arrange thru e-Govt which does not require this form. This form is for manual application...

As I can understand from the new form provided, this is for new entries as well as renewals also. It might a reason they have not stated the salary requirements in the form, it can be different for renewals and new entries.

@ gigbit - It is not written 10K anywhere. I tried to update what the information I got today. Reguirement no 8 is any other condition deemed necessary. If you see the requirements listed out by MOI, letter from sponsor is not required.

If anyone tried only with the requirements listed out, please update

@ ulierio - if you are staying in the company accommodation, yes the agreement and W/E will be in the name of the company. Your attested employment contract and letter from the company/sponsor will clearly state that it is provided by company

If you see the new application, the housing type, contract type along with the Electricity No. / Water No. is needed (easy to verify now if whether it is in your name or not)

PS. I am neither an expert nor a PRO, just a person moved from Dubai to Doha, going through all these hassles to have my family with me.

Please update if anyone got the family residence permit approval with these/without these.

what if I'm staying in flat which was given by company? My rent agreement & electricity bill are under my company's name not me? please advise. thx.

so minimum is 7k Qr salary

It is good to have the educational certificates attested, a copy submitted along with the application. upon checking with someone, I got the reply is based on your position and salary and the letter from the sponsor, you may be required to submit if it is asked for.

Now any other condition deemed necessary is vague and can be used by the officer to call for any documents he feels relevant to your application.

The ideal situation is that you have all the documents, listed by MOI and others submitted in the first instance to avoid a rejection.

PS. I am not an expert nor a PRO, just a person moved from Dubai to Doha, going through all these hassles to have my family with me. I never thought bringing the family was so tough. The six month bank statement rule was a big hurdle, I had to send my family back to home country so that my kids won’t miss school I need to bring them in by end of next this month before the next term starts or else I have to wait till Next School year. Schools here give admission only if the Residence Permit is processed or else I have pursued the option of Family Visit.
