Need INFO regarding (WORK)VISA CANCELLATION

I've been hearing/given various information which is confusing and scary for those people in this predicament:

- It was told that once visa is cancelled, you got seven (7) days to leave the country.

- After 7 days, you get to pay penalty/fine which is 10 riyals or 100 riyals. Which is which?

- If your visa gets cancelled but you have an NOC (No Objection letter), can you still get a job (new sponsor)?

- And what if you can't leave the country because you have an existing bank loan?

You need a job to pay for the loan, but if previous employer cancels your visa before it gets transfered to your new sponsor/employer, what will happen?

Can anyone enlighten us regarding this?

visa transfer in process...keeping my fingers crossed that it won't take a month and a half (PRO said) to complete the process.

I'm to meet my manager (new job) this afternoon and the PRO so we could go together to my old sponsor to have the paper signed/stamped and get my passsport.

I'm also hoping everything would be resolved by then as I'm so stressed I've lost my appetite and couldn't sleep over this.

i just only have bit doubt why it take so long to take in to new sponsor. anyway

as long as your new sponsor willing to cooperate and accept you thiers nothing to worry about it...just forwarded to your new mandoob the immigration paper which the old company already signed that with "Stamp". everything will be follow,

The new mandoob followed up from immigration after singed,it's about time to ask your passport your old employer,in order to attached your new RP with your passport...regarding the loan as long as you are willing to pay for that loan i don't see any reason for holding you to earn for a living, what's the problem?

Be humble always...

but couldn't complete it as the IMMIGRATION was asking for the RP ID card (pataqa)which is still with me.

My bank loan issues shouldn't be their concern anymore as I just need to get my Contract of employment and salary transfer letter from my new employer and it would be resolved.

All I need was their signature and company stamp on that Immigration paper and get my passport back to process the transfer and they're making it hard for me...

Now, they're willing to meet me and the PRO tomorrow afternoon...

3month is enough, they can't cancelled you...try to meet your upper superior position or make a letter explain ur situation i know they will understand u...some kind of humbleness, show up to them you know what you are doing and be tough in any situation occurs.

they took that long before they transferred your Visa? If they really wanted to keep you, they could have done this earlier.

if the old company have your passport, I would be worried. Mind you, even that's not much use without an exit visa to go with it, if you were thinking of leaving that is.

Unfortunately, old sponsor holds the cards!!!

after I got separated with my previous employer, I got hired by a trading company who took their sweet time processing the transfer...thus 2 months is wasted.

I didn't have any of this problem before when i transfered from my first sponsor to them and it took them 8 months before they were able to complete the transfer....and now, they want me to cancel my visa coz they said i have a bank loan and will surrender my passport to CID.

My new employer's PRO is baffled with this actions...I can only deduce that this is a PERSONAL...as the manager in charge of this HATES ME as much as I hate him so he's using his position/authority to torment/harrass me.

You found the job; new sponsor willing to do the transfer but old sponsor refused to cooperate and adamant to cancel the visa and keeps your passport hostage, so to speak.

Who you need to talk to? The QATAR LABOR OFFICE? THE CID? THE IMMIGRATION? WHO?

i guess, you have to pay off the loan and to leave the country within 7 days.

but if you've got a NOC, and you managed to find the job, you don't have to leave the country. transfer your sponsorship and keep paying off your debts.

As azilana7037 mentioned... it seems very stupid rule...

"If you lost your job your visa is canceled and you have to leave.... but if you have loan... you cannot leave nor you can work...." What can you do in such case....?

Don't it sound stupid rule....?

your visa gets cancelled, you have to leave and can't come back after X number of years.

But you got a loan so you can't leave the country...so where you gonna be?
