Good day to all QL friends! First of all I want to thank all the people who shared there views concerning all things about visa here in Qatar. I've learned a lot here and I'm happy that finally I got Residence family visa for my wife & kids. Even though some info were wrong, but generally information here are quite helpful.

Just want to ask what is the age limit for a family visit visa. Maybe somebody experience rejection because of age and might share his knowledge.

P.S.

If you got already your visa copy from MOI, please check thoroughly all the details before leaving. Don't want to be surprised when your visitors could not pass the immigration on departure date just because of some discrepancy on his visa.

Yes even I have heard a lot about the 60+ thing. The way it is generally if anyone who you are applying for is 60+ then the captain has the executive right to either grant the visa or otherwise.

My experience has been that if that person(s) are your parents then more often than not, you will get the visa inshaAllah. In case they are a distant relative, then it may be rejected.

My dad is 70+ and he got visit visa, my friends aunt was 70+, they did not give it to her, the one time that they did give it to her it was only for 3 months.

usually no problems for those under 60.

if over 60 years of age, the family visit visa must be approuved by a commity that will decide.

in short, no age limit.
