Maintaining two Residencies

Dear Readers:

I have got a lucrative offer in Qatar. I am curently residing in Kuwait with my family.

The issue is I have to join the company in Qatar, get my residency and later on get my family to Qatar.

Is it possible to maintain my family and my Kuwaiti residency atleast until I get my family to Qatar from Kuwait?

Pleas elaborate on this.

All your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

regards

Maverick

if you are holding a residency in kuwait and your family is under your sponsorship, it will be difficult because your status will be theirs. as far as i know, you can only hold residency in one of the GCCs. for you to get rp in qatar, you must cancel your kuwait's. however, it will mean cancellation of your family's visa too. so you cannot leave them there.

lets see what others will say.

Maverick, like you a number of people in Qatar are looking after two homes. You will be able to remit money to your family until they are able to join you. I am in the same position as you are, and have been assured this is the case.

First thing first...

1> be in Qatar first and acquire Residence Permit...

2> once u have the residence permit, u may petition your family to come along with you in Qatar.

this may be an effective choice... meanwhile, u may likewise come with the whole family at once but there seems might be tight time to chase in order for all of you to settle to do and to wait for immigration requirements procedures.
