Long Term Tourist Visa for British Citizen

Hi,

My nephew would like to visit us during his university holidays over the summer. Ideally, he would like to stay as long as three months.

I can only find visa application forms for 30 days. Does anybody know if it is possible to obtain longer stay tourist visas and if so how to go about it?

Thanks,

Chris

BahrainChris...

I got the application form from the embassy, i had to take 72 pounds worth of "that money you get from the post office, cant remember what its called lol" and the same day the embassy gave me my 6 month visa. If you call up asking about the visa im sure they will know what your talking about :)

SamyaUK,

Thanks for the information - very helpful.

Can I ask how you got the application forms? I can't find them on the embassy website. If I call up and ask for the application forms for a "6 month multiple entry tourist visa" will they have any idea what I'm talking about?!

Thanks,

Chris

Before the 1st month is over go to the immigration department outside the airport and he can get another month extension. After that, to continue here, he needs to exit the country on a so called 'visa run' to any other close by country and he will get another month visit visa upon reentering. Hope that helped :)
