Leaving Qatar and coming back, problems?

Question Mark
By Question Mark

I am planning to resign my work in Qatar, but i would like to know will it cost me problems in the future. I heard about the 2 years ban of working i will get without NOC, but will i be able to visit Qatar during these 2 years time? I mean is a visit without any working intentions still possible?

Thank you for your answers, especially that article of Gulf. I have been thinking these questions for a while already, but this clears a lot. I thought i would still have a chance to visit as a tourist, but apparently it's not that simple. Now i have to do some serious thinking with my future plans.

I was in the same situation as you before, but I came back on family visa after 1 month and half, not after 2 years... This was 4 years ago, but I doubt that rules are more strict now...

Yup as mentioned be other qlers, without NOC from your present company, you are banned for 2 years from entering qatar even if you use visit/tourist, business or even family visa. Worst is there is also news that the 2 years ban will be increased to 5 years ban..though this issue needs to be confirmed..so make up your mind dude...think and decide wisely...

As it stands now, no, you will not be able to return for two years. Some have even suggested it may be raised to five years. Better try for that NOC.

As per Gulf Times article on Sept 28th you need NOC to get even visit visa for this 2years.

As you already know we cant predict the rules in these kind of issues, if you are lucky you may be able to visit.
