Is it possible to transfer my husband (here in Qatar) from his company's sponsorship to mine?
Is it possible to transfer my husband (who is working here in Qatar) from his company's sponsorship to mine?
He works for a crap company (relatively small so it doesn't take much notice anyway). Chances of them giving him an NonObjection Letter are very small. However, if he transfers to my sponsorship, is it just a simple transfer even without the NOC? Would he then be able to work for another company after being under my sponsorship (obviously I give the NOC)?
I know there is this 2 year rule but my understanding is that you couldnt work during that two years.... if your visa is cancelled because you resign/quit, it doesn't mean your banned from the country for 2 years.
Can someone with actual knowledge on this clarify for me?
Thanks Rasin. thanks very much. Yes, Im eligible to do so (i.e. if you are referring to salary).
if you are eligible to sponsor your husband, then you can trasfer his sponsorship to your name, needs an NOC from his current sponsor, and if they are not ready to give NOC then he has to exit Qatar and he can come back under your sponsorship any time (two year ban is not applicable for coming under family visa).
