Is it possible to transfer family visit visa to Work visa without leaving Qatar?

My sister arrived Sept 28, 2008 and she is here on a family visit visa for 6 months. She got a job but the company said that it is not possible to transfer her current visa (family visit)a to work visit w/o leaving Qatar. Said that she has to go back to the Philippines and go through POEA. Is this the new policy? Can anyone please help me. If there is another way to transfer her visa to work w/o returning to the phil. please let me know?

hello

i came here to doha by famly visa and i transfered it to work without any payment or problem

maybe the company dont want ur sister anymore

try to ask tomorrow in immigration department in al gharafa

they will help u

u need to spend QR 500 more, so that u can change family visit to perment visa without leaving Qatar. chek with new sponcer.
