Is it possible for me to change my visa to other sponsor?

Good day to all!

I have several concerns regarding visa and i hope you can help me.

I resigned from my work last December 2008 but my visa was cancelled last February 2009. I went back to our country and stayed for 7 months. I came back in Doha last September 2009 on a Family visit visa and hoping that we could transfer my visa under my husband sponsorship.

My husband was advised that he need to change first his profession name in his visa to his current position in order for him to sponsor my visa.

Now my concerns are the following:

1st: It has been 3 months now that we are waiting from my husband's company/mandoop if the profession is already change. How long really the timeframe in changing the profession name in visa?

2nd: I only have 2 months to stay here, so Im thinking I should do something so i could not go back to our country. So, im planning to find a job or company who can give me sponsorship before my visa expire.

(Please note that my profession name in my cancelled visa is Physical Instructor.)

Since it is cancelled for more than 6 months, Is it possible that we could change it to other sponsor with a different profession name (e.g. secretary, etc.)?

I heard that Labor Dept. is considering any circumstances if the visa is already expired for more than 6 months.

3rd: Or do i still need to ask for a NOC to my previous employer so I could transfer it to other employer?

Thank you in advance for your replies... God Bless...

If you want to change your visa to another Sponsor you must have the NOC from your previous Sponsor. The time frame for changing the profession in your husband's visa depends on the concerned department and your husband should push his mandoob for follow up.
