Iqama for new born baby (In Qatar)
Good day,
I would like to ask that how much it cost for the iqama of new born baby. Before it used to be 1st year free and QR 400/- each year after that. i.e. For two years iqama it was Qr 400/- and three years Qr 800/-.
Any one who recently got iqama for new born baby in qatar.

the rules has been changed from beginning of 2013, for new born you have to pay qr.400/- from 1st year itself. but in 2013 they issued 1 year RP only for my new born son, even I request for 2 years, they gave only 1 Year. it is everything depends the person who attend you in the counter.
I don't know when exactly. Last 2012 I paid for 3 years visa for my new born baby and I just get the 20% discount. No more 1 year free.

I paid Qr 400/- for two years iqama in 2011 for my new born child.
Today I paid Qr 800/- for two years iqama for my new born child.
Any idea when this rule was changed.

It will cost you QR 400 per year or save 20% if you paid for three years visa.
