Hi
am planning to visit Qatar on visit visa for 6 months and search a job In IT field(Oracle Developer).
My doubt is, Can i do some part time job in these 6 months until i get my Job there if am in visit visa? or any permission needed for that??

In my current company there is no upcoming projects so they already told me to search another job.My cousin is in Qatar he told me to come there on VIsit visa.am tottally confused about this.I already have to many loans for my studies.if i not get any job then will badly affect to me.thatz why am asking too many queris to you.

Well praveen, I don't want to disappoint you but acquiring a business visa could turn out to be a project in itself which has to be followed up by a part time job hunt for survival which has to be followed up by a full time engagement search in a field where the openings are almost 1 in 100, that too within a limited time frame. Many things have to fall in place at the right time for you to be successful. I would call it an "in-calculated" risk. IMHO (In My Honest Opinion).
And yes, business visa can be extended but you can't continue to stay for six months at a stretch, not to mention the company giving you this favor has to be kind enough or feel that its business may go down when you are not there for him. It costs.
A better option will be to explore all possibilities while you are still with work in India. You might also want to look westward.

acutally i didnt get what is IMHO. can you explain it
by law... in business visa u can work....but it allows to work for the sponsor, not for others......but here many people working for others ...it is illegal..
if am in bussiness visa can i extend to 3 months more(total 6 months) is it possible?
i have an OCP certification and 2+Years of exp in this field.

You can work in Qatar on business visa however the max duration after which you need to take an exit is 3 months. This duration might fall short to be able to land a good job as an Oracle developer even if you have an OCP under your belt IMHO. Remember, any opening in Qatar unrelated to construction/infrastructure/gas has a slimmer chance than everything related to it until your stars standout.
