Hi, can somebody tell me the penalty for infant not having passport and RP(delayed more than 40days). Babies are born in qatar and parent have got valid RP. Whats the procedure now. We will be greatful if somebody gives right direction

In addition to nelscruz advice, its easy to apply for RP for babies born in Qatar. You need photocopy of your RP and wife, baby's passport size photo (blue background), birth certificate, and baby's passport and proceed post office main building located in west bay. RP should be under father sponsorship if you apply thru post office.goodluck.

Penalty is QR10/day. Apply birth certificate to supreme council of health (in-front of reception in hamad women hospital). Once you have the BC apply for passport in your embassy. Once passport is available apply for RP.
