Individual sponsorship doing-away (liquidation) Very urgent!!!!
As-salaam Aalaykum,my friends,pls.give a good advice: my husband's sponsorship validity is for 14\03\2009 on someone. He dont want to extend this sponsorship any more.The sponsorship will be ending automatically at 14\03\2009 or not? He has to make an application for doing-away (liquidation) of sponsorship? Until is valid old sponsorship I cant get my RP or the family visa as legal wife.Or old sponsorship is valid forever if this people dont want to leave Qatar or doesnt want transfer her visa for other sponsorship? What could we do?

You can request your husband's sponsor that you are going to release his sponsorship and not to renew it anymore. An NOC shall be issued by your husband for the man to work with another company or to find another sponsorship. An expired residence permit is valid up to 90 days. After that, fine shall be computed as QR 10.00 per day.
Regarding your sponsorship, your husband can sponsor you as family visa (permanent) provided his Basic Salary is Qr 7,000.00 as minimum requirement.

With what I managed to understand from your query, let me brief:
-Your husband's visa expired on 14Mar09.
-He doesn't want to extend. Yes, he needs to make a request for a liquidation to his sponsor (correct term is 'release').
-Legally, he can stay for further 3months further but subject to authorisation.
-There is no sponsorship valid 'forever'.
-He cannot apply for an RP for you or family visa unless his current visa is renewed. He can do so after extending or changing his sponsorship.
-Your stay/extension here will depend on what visa category you are in now.
