I need info on Visa for my wife

hi all,
i will be moving to doha in a few weeks on a work visa.ours a is a new company and we have just finished the registration formalities.i will be the first representative of my Co. in Qatar.now my problem is how do i get my wife over with me? i read some of the comments in previous forums and they are all very confusing.some say a 6 month salary statement from qatari bank is needed to apply for both a visit visa and an RP.if thats true then i cant even apply for my wifes visa for 6 months! if any of you have gone thru the process recently would really appreciate ur help.also kindly tell me the time it takes to get the RP after landing in doha.

you can only apply a visa for your wife after 6 months after your RP is issued.
