will be posting this again as i mistakenly posted this last night under "forums" and not under Q & A..also, i am hoping for more replies...
Hi Qlers. Hope you guys can help me.

My husband is working in a contracting company under NDIA. His company is ending their contract with NDIA by this year. For this reason, my husband has resigned (his last day was march 31) because his company is willing to provide NOC.

However, he didn't find a good offer from other companies until now. Then yesterday, his previous company told him that his visa will be CANCELLED NEXT WEEK.

My company has already given me the NOC to sponsor him. However, since our mandoob didnt come to the office today, we were not able to apply for the transfer of sponsorship.

Question: What is the chance that Immigration office will accept our request for visa transfer tomorrow? My salary is above 8k and I am working in a bank. If its granted, can my husband still work in Doha because somebody told us it's not possible...he will just have the RP but not allowed to work? If not, what else can we do? His company doesnt have a heart as they're giving the deadline until tomorrow only although his visa expiry is until July.

PLEASE HELP US. Our 7 months old baby is also under my husband's sponsorship!

thanks everyone!

qatarisun, thanks for your opinion although it didnt help.

i'm not expecting qlers to tell me my fortune..i just thought that qatarliving might give me answers thru its friendly and helpful users who had the same experience and who could tell me suggestions on what to do..or if its possible to do such thing/decision, etc.

btw, this was my first time to post this under Q & A so i dont think i am being redundant :)

i'll go to immigration tomorrow (praying everything will be ok) and will be posting here what happened so that i could help other qlers who are in the same situation..instead of just making them feel more upset (just like you did)

You need not worry this much. Please go to immigration office yourself and talk to an officer. They are very helpful under their limits. Please don’t waste time by waiting for replies from QL.Be there by Sunday morning 1st hour. You will come back with cheers. Good luck

Not to worry it will be accepted 100% and he can work. If any problem you can sms me. If you still have doubt, just walk upto any typing center.

you asked your question few days back, and now you still ask "What is the chance that Immigration office will accept our request for visa transfer tomorrow"

Since few days back this "tomorrow" has occured few times. Why the hell wouldn't you just go and submit your application and see "what's your chance"

Even though we are not fortune tellers here, let me predict, your chance is about 0.33.3%
