How long is my mom allowed to stay in Doha considering that she is a US passport holder?

Does she need sponsorship from me / my husband and go through the usual process of applying for a visa or she could just come over anytime and her visa could be stamped upon arrival at the airport? Then, how long is she permitted to stay? how about extensions?

normally someone have to sponsor her and the best one is ur husband. it is easy to get a family visit visa which can be extendable upto 6 months. i dont know is there any special consid. for US citizens or not.
