I would really like to know how long it takes for you guys to have your Work Permit and Resident Permit issued since you landed in Qatar ??

I arrived on Business Visa 2 weeks back and the company PRO has still not asked for any documents, passport, etc. I am worried as I intend to bring my family soon and my kid has to start schooling from mid March.

Bad Newz !!

My PRO had to make a medical appointment online and told me that my medical appointment is fixed for the 21st March...thats tooooo late. I think by the time the RP will be stamped it will be mid April !!

I came in early January :-(

Good Newz !!!

My PRO tells me that today my work permit got approved from the Ministry. He will collect the passport tomorrow.

Anyone has any information...now how long for the residence Permit ???

I applied for it since 15-Dec-10 and is not Ready Yet. it will take 6-9 Weeks i guess.
