how long i will be restricted from getting RP since i left qatar without cancelling previous one.

In Dec 2007 i went for vacation with 1 year vaild visa in Qatar.Then i got a job in UAE and i joined their without cancelling my Qatar work visa.Now i got a offer in qatar.But i want to know how long i will be restricted from getting RP and work permit:is it for 2 years or 3 years (which includes 1 year vaild qatar visa when i left qatar).Please note that i am changing my sponspor.The 2 year ban means the date i left qatar even i didnt cancel my visa.Please advice me....

Your residency would have been valid for 6 months after you left the country as you cannot cancel an RP if the passport is not handed to immigration.

Your ban will be for 2 years + 6 months after you left Qatar and even then as you did a runner you may be blacklisted from returning.

I am with Bald on this one, I hate people being so irresponsible. This is one of the reasons the sponsorship laws here are so one sided.

If your previous sponsor has any sense, they will realise you have done a runner and should deliberately keep your residence open so that you can not return.

Sorry, but it's people like you that screw it up for the rest of us who do the honourable thing and resign properly.

you are saying that your ID not canceled but you already working in another country for more then 1 year,if canceled 2 years from the date of cancelation ,if no you need NOC letter..
